This is a great table lamp if you’re looking for something a bit more versatile in terms of functionality, whilst still maintaining great looks and a quality feel. The swing-out double articulated neck at the top of the lamp stem allows for repositioning of the lamp shade, this is great if you want to get a bit more light on whatever you’re looking at, be it a book, crossword puzzle, or Airfix model. It’s also very handy for being able to move the lamp over so that a person sat next to you can have a clearer view on something when you don’t need it.
The structure is very solid, and the chrome finish is impeccable. The only real drawback is that you’ll need to purchase a shade, but given the neutral finish of the frame you won’t have too much trouble finding one suitable, though it’s worth getting one from the same manufacturer to make sure the fitting is correct.
- Versatile functionality
- Quality finish and construction
- Shade and bulb not supplied
- Slight lean on arm when fully extended
A really worthwhile purchase if you’re looking to maximise the potential of what a lamp can provide. Not only does it look great but, with proper planning this lamp will also serve many functions within the space you allocate for it. For example, if you have two armchairs with a small table between them, then this lamp would be an excellent choice for serving both occupants, yet being minimally invasive in terms of space.
